Terms of Service

Agreement
By registering for a course, purchasing a seat, or requesting training from Care Chain CPR, you agree to these terms.
Registration and payment
A seat is reserved when payment is received. Payments are processed through Square. Course prices are subject to change, but the price you paid at registration is the price honored for that registration.
Attendance and prerequisites
Certification courses require full attendance and successful completion of all skills testing and, where applicable, written examination. Arriving materially late may mean you cannot be certified that day.
Some courses carry prerequisites — for example, ACLS and PALS require a current BLS Provider card, and HeartCode skills checks require a completed online course certificate that you must bring with you. If you arrive without a required prerequisite, we cannot certify you, and the cancellation terms below apply.
Certification
We issue certification on behalf of the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross, or the American College of Surgeons. Cards are issued electronically and delivered to the email address supplied at registration — check that address carefully.
Certification is issued only on successful completion. Payment purchases instruction and the opportunity to test; it does not purchase a card. We will always tell you before class what completion requires.
Instructor and organizational courses
Instructor certification depends on eligibility criteria set by the issuing organization and on Training Center acceptance, and is not guaranteed by purchase. Contact us before purchasing an instructor course so we can confirm you qualify — we would rather tell you no in advance than take your money.
On-site training
For on-site training at your facility, you are responsible for providing an appropriate space, and for the accuracy of the headcount you give us. Scheduling, minimums, and cancellation terms for contracted on-site training are set out in your written quote or agreement, which controls over these general terms where the two differ.
Conduct
We reserve the right to remove a participant from a class, without refund, for conduct that endangers or materially disrupts other participants.
No medical advice
Our courses are training. Nothing on this site or in our instruction constitutes medical advice or establishes a provider-patient relationship. Training does not guarantee any particular outcome in a real emergency.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, our liability arising from any course or from use of this site is limited to the amount you paid for the course in question.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Questions: william@carechaincpr.com.
