Refund & Cancellation Policy

The short version

Cancel or reschedule more than 48 hours before your class and you get a full refund or a free move to another date. Inside 48 hours, we have already committed an instructor, a room, and course materials to your seat, and we cannot recover that.

Cancellation by you

To cancel or reschedule, email william@carechaincpr.com or call (941) 270-3396. Cancellation is effective when we confirm it, not when you send it — so if you have not heard back, call.

Arriving without a prerequisite

If you arrive at an ACLS, PALS, or HeartCode skills check without the required current BLS card or online completion certificate, we cannot certify you. This is treated as a same-day cancellation. Check your prerequisites when you book, not the morning of.

Cancellation by us

If we cancel a class — low enrollment, instructor emergency, weather, storm closure — you get your choice of a full refund or a seat in the next available class. We will contact you at the phone number and email you registered with.

Failure to complete

If you attend and do not successfully complete the skills or written testing, no refund is issued. We will work with you on remediation, and we will tell you honestly what you need to do.

eCards

Once an AHA eCard has been issued and claimed, it cannot be refunded.

On-site and contracted training

Cancellation terms for on-site and contracted organizational training are set out in your written quote or agreement and control over this policy. In general, on-site cancellations inside seven days of the scheduled date are billable, because the date was held for you.

How refunds are processed

Refunds are issued through Square to the original payment method. Expect five to ten business days for the funds to appear, depending on your bank.
