Who we are

Care Chain CPR ("we," "us") is an American Heart Association Authorized Training Site and American Red Cross Authorized Provider operating in Southwest Florida. What we collect

• Information you give us. Name, email, phone, organization, course selections, and anything you type into a quote request or registration form.
• Payment information. Payments are processed by Square. We do not receive, store, or have access to your full card number. Square's handling of that data is governed by Square's own privacy policy.
• Certification records. Course completions, credential type, and expiration dates, retained as required by the American Heart Association and the American Red Cross.
• Technical information. Standard web and analytics data — IP address, browser, pages viewed, referring source.

Cookies

We use cookies for site functionality and analytics, and — where you consent — for advertising and outreach measurement. You can decline non-essential cookies using the banner on our site, and you can clear or block cookies through your browser at any time. Declining non-essential cookies does not prevent you from registering for a class.

How we use it

To schedule and deliver training, issue certification cards, process payment, send registration confirmations and certification expiration reminders, respond to quote requests, and — if you have opted in — send occasional marketing about courses and safety topics.

We do not sell your personal information.

Email and unsubscribing

Every marketing email we send includes a working unsubscribe link and our physical mailing address, as required by the CAN-SPAM Act. Unsubscribing takes effect promptly. Transactional messages — registration confirmations, class changes, certification expiration notices — are not marketing and will continue as long as you have an active or recent registration with us.

Who we share it with

• The American Heart Association and American Red Cross, for the sole purpose of issuing your certification card.
• Square, to process payment.
• Google Workspace and Google Cloud, which host our email, scheduling, and site infrastructure.
• Your employer, if your employer arranged and paid for the training — in which case they receive attendance and completion records.

We disclose information to no one else except where required by law.

Your choices

Email us at william@carechaincpr.com to request a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Certification records that we are required by the AHA or Red Cross to retain cannot be deleted on request, but we will tell you exactly what those are.

Children

Some courses — Babysitter's Training in particular — are designed for participants under 18. Where a participant is a minor, we collect registration information from a parent or guardian and use it only to deliver the course and issue the certification.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be communicated by email to registered customers.
